The 4th meeting of the working group for the detection, basic research and recovery of sunken machinery and equipment in order to protect Khuvsgul Lake and reduce pollution was held.
The following issues were discussed at the meeting of the working group established by Order No. 117 of 2020 of the Prime Minister of Mongolia.

About the policy-planning of the operation of withdrawing vehicles sunk in Khuvsgul Lake;
About the engineering calculation of liquidation;
The following decision was made after discussing the technological solutions for withdrawal.
It includes:
Organize the purchase of equipment and tools necessary for the withdrawal process in cooperation with international organizations within the first quarter of 2023;
Determine the costs required to design the working area “Farm” on the water table to be used in the withdrawal process and complete the construction by the first quarter of 2023;
Deputy head of the unit and Minister of Defense G. Saihanbayar will be responsible for ensuring the readiness of the units of equipment and personnel expected to be used in the withdrawal operation from the relevant units of the armed forces;
The head of NEMA, Major General G. Ariunbuyan, was tasked to complete the preparations for the withdrawal operation and present it to the working group before June 10, 2023.
